What to send when you ask for pricing
The more detail you send the quicker we can price your job accurately. For most roofing, cladding and gutter work, we need the site address, the type of structure, rough measurements and a few clear photos. If you are in Gouriqua Park, Hartenbos, Great Brak River, George, Wilderness or Sedgefield, include the suburb or town so we can check travel and site access before we quote.
Please also tell us whether the work is a new installation, a repair or a replacement. A leak repair after heavy rain is very different from a full roof sheet installation, and a carport or steel frame needs different fixing points than a simple flashing job. If you have drawings, a hand sketch or a municipal plan note, send that too.

We normally work through a practical order: first we check the information, then we ask for anything missing, then we decide whether site measuring is needed. For small items like custom flashings or gutter replacement, photos and measurements may be enough. For larger work such as steel frame erection, wall cladding installation or full roof sheet installation, we may arrange a site measure before final pricing.

What affects the price
Pricing depends on the size of the job, the height of the structure and how much cutting, bending or fixing is involved. Coastal work in Mossel Bay often needs extra attention because salt air can shorten the life of fittings and exposed metal if the right material is not used. Load shedding can also affect timing on site, especially where access tools or lifts are needed, so it helps to mention if your property has backup power.
We also look at the condition of the existing work. A gutter with small leaks at the joints may only need repair or replacement of certain lengths, while a corroded roof edge may need new flashings, fasteners and a check of the surrounding sheets. - Sites with limited access, steep ground or fragile finishes
A proper measure helps us see where water is pooling, where sheets need trimming and whether extra support is needed near the eaves. That saves time on site and cuts the chance of rework.
